Almost all of us live in an unnatural environment. Because of this, nature cannot provide entirely for our proper development, health, and well being. We live and work in a world that our bodies are not designed for. As a result, some of our muscles atrophy from lack of exercise and others become over taxed by repetitive stress. Eventually something gives and injury results. Massage in conjunction with regular stretching and exercise can help to remedy this. Just as important, it helps to reduce stress which can take years off one's life.
